Duties and Responsibilities:

• Operates heavy equipment called a motor grader to perform public works projects, road maintenance, and construction activities.

• Responsible for rough or fine grading to prepare surfaces for roads, construction, or pavement base.

• Operates the grader to spread and level materials like dirt, gravel, stone to grade specifications.

• Shapes and finishes shoulders, slopes, and constructs new road grades.

• Reads and understands grade stakes and can balance grades to meet construction tolerances.

Job Requirements:

• Education: Completion of 10th Grade with relevant work experience

• Experience: 8 years
