Job Description
A storekeeper is responsible for managing inventory, organizing and maintaining stock, receiving and dispatching goods, keeping records of transactions, and ensuring the smooth operation of a store or warehouse.
Duties and Responsibilities
Providing support store operation by identifying, handling, storing and handing over material, tools, equipment used at constriction
Receive purchased material
Issue material depending on requested data
Manage material on site
Properly store industrial and local material
Control wastage of construction material
Prepare report for concerned body
Use all required official document (GRN. SIV) and etc.
Controlling Stock balance of construction materials
Checking the stock as per records.
Detail follow up and arranging all activities on site
Managing budgets and other project resources.
Working on-site in all weathers or in an office.
Daily checkup activity on site
Performing other related tasks assigned by the immediate supervisor/Site Engineer
Job Requirements
BSc/ Diploma Level IV in civil engineering, construction management (COTM), Material Management or related field
2, 3/4years’ related Work Experience Construction area
