TADAL Trading PLC was established in 2012 and provides quality products and services to its customers. It manufactures and supplies construction materials (bricks, ready-mix concrete, concrete blocks, etc.). 

The Company seeks a qualified Forklift Machine Operator for its manufacturing plant. 

The Forklift Operator is responsible for operating forklifts and other material-handling equipment to safely and efficiently move, load, and unload materials, finished products, and supplies. The role ensures smooth material flow between production, storage, and dispatch areas while maintaining safety, accuracy, and productivity standards.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

• Operate forklifts or pallet jacks to transport raw materials, finished blocks, or concrete products between work areas.

• Load and unload delivery trucks, ensuring materials are properly stacked, balanced, and secured.

• Supply production lines with raw materials as required.

• Move finished goods to the curing area, warehouse, or dispatch zone according to instructions.

• Record materials moved, received, or dispatched in logbooks or inventory management systems.

• Perform pre-operation checks on the forklift (brakes, steering, hydraulics, battery/fuel, tires, etc.) and report any malfunctions immediately.

• Clean and maintain forklifts to ensure good working condition.

• Refuel or recharge forklifts as needed and store them safely at the end of each shift.

• Operate forklifts safely and follow all plant safety rules, including speed limits and load limits.

• Work closely with warehouse staff, production teams, and dispatch clerks to coordinate the movement of goods.

Job Requirements

Qualifications, Experience, and Skills:

• Technical/vocational certificate in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or related fields

• At least two years of experience in manufacturing, preferably in brick, cement, or similar production lines

• Skilled in operating different types of forklifts (diesel, gas, or electric)

• Understanding of warehouse layout, stacking principles, and load balance

• Knowledge of basic mechanical troubleshooting and daily forklift inspection routines
