Bahir Dar Plant Tissue Culture PLC is the private-sector in the tissue culture business established in 2016 in the Amhara Region to address shortage of improved and disease-free horticulture planting materials. The company has been producing improved and disease-free potato seed, pineapple, banana seedlings and other fruits and vegetable seedlings through tissue culture laboratory technology and in the nurseries. The company would like to invite competent candidates who fulfill the requirement of the vacancy indicated below 

Post Details 

  • Job Title:                Finance & Administration Manager

  • Report to:              General Manager 

  • Salary & benefit:    Monthly gross salary 27,750birr; house allowance 2,000birr and position allowance 1,500birr. 

  • Duty station:          Bahir dar plant Tissue Culture

  • Required:              01(one)

  • Employment Duration : Permanent 

Registration Date : 10 consecutive working days from vacancy announcement . 

Major Duties & responsibility

Finance & Accounting 

  • Ensure Timely preparation & submission of Monthly financial reports to the general manger 

  • Develop the updated Audit action plans and Audit risk matrices and follow up the implementation of Audit recommendations

  • Supervise All Accounting Staff and Activists including budgeting ledger entries ,internal control asset management ,resource optimization ,petty cash and stock management 

Human Resource

  • Interpret &implement the organization ‘s HR strategy and polices and oversee the company’s Staff performance management 

  • Support the implementation of recruitment, indication & orientation  of anew staff into the company and maintain  the company’s Human Resource Information in with  line the national labor laws

  • Supervise  all Human Resource Staff and Activates including Staff Development ,Discipline ,Payroll Service ,Attendance Management of  facilities 

Logistics, it & Security 

  • Develop and execute responsive and Appropriate system for office Management .local procurement, fleet   Management ,it Service and logistics in line with the company’s polices 

  • Analyze procurement request and Develop Service contract /Agreement for outsource service  and regularly Monitor the performance  of service providers

  • Supervise All logistics and it staff  and Activates include ,safety ,supply chain process and transport for the company ‘s office & branches

Administration

  • Lead the implementation of the company’s Administrative polices, procedure and plans and supervise all staff with Administrative Responsibility 

  • Guide the provision of Administrative support to all Departments for travel, Meeting and documentation and ensure that all staff members have the required materials & equipment.

  • Facilitate incoming and out coming correspondence to the various department Making sure that the correspondences are properly tracked and field

Job Requirements

Knowledge ,Skills and Abilities

  • Excellent Communication and Organization skills with strong Ability to analyze business sceneries and work under pressure

  • Computer literacy and presentation skills demonstrated bay good knowledge of MS package like MS outlook  power point ,excel and MS word   computerized Accounting and other accounting soft ware 

  • Interpersonal and  supervisory skills and the ability to work with a multi-cultural team within or outside

Minimum Requirement :

  • MA/MSc/MBA/BA/BSc in either Finance, Accounting Business Management with 5 Years of relevant experience From which at least 2 Years Managerial experience in the field Mandatory 

  • Applicant who have experience with in a profitable organization in either Finance like Accounting ,Commerce  or Business Management/Administration
