The Construction Contractors Association of Ethiopia (CCAE), established on October 28, 1991, plays a pivotal role in advocating for construction contractors, enhancing their capacities, and fostering sustainable growth within Ethiopia’s construction sector. To sustain and expand its activities, CCAE recognizes the importance of developing its human resources to meet strategic goals, improve service delivery, and ensure effective governance. CCAE invites competent and qualified candidates who fulfill the requirements.
Bachelor's Degree: A bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Technology and Management, Law, Political Science, Public Policy
Economics, or a related field from a recognized university is required. A master's degree and training in researching in one of the aforementioned fields is highly preferred and advantageous.
A minimum of 8 years of proven professional experience in a similar role within a relevant sector. Experience in advocacy, lobbying, public relations, or government affairs, particularly within the construction or a related industry, is highly desirable.
Strong knowledge of Ethiopia's legal and political systems, government structure, and economic development policies is essential
Familiarity with the challenges and opportunities within the Ethiopian construction industry is a must.
Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport and negotiate with a wide range of stakeholders.
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in both English and Amharic are required. The ability to articulate complex issues concisely and persuasively to diverse audiences is crucial
