Job Description
Big Star Academy – DMC Branch, in partnership with Derba Midroc Cement (DMC) Factory, is seeking qualified, motivated, and passionate educators to join our Kindergarten team as Main Teachers and Assistant Teachers.
Successful candidates will play a vital role in providing a safe, nurturing, and stimulating learning environment for young children, supporting DMC’s ongoing commitment to community development and quality education.
Key Duties and Responsibilities (for both positions):
Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate lessons and activities.
Support children’s cognitive, emotional, social, and physical development.
Create and maintain a safe, clean, and organized classroom environment.
Foster positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
Assess students’ progress and provide regular feedback to parents and school administration.
Support classroom management and maintain discipline.
Participate in school events, extracurricular activities, and parent-teacher meetings.
Assist in preparing teaching materials and classroom resources.
Uphold the school’s values, ethics, and professional standards.
Job Requirements
Kindergarten Main Teacher
Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Education or a related field.
Experience: Minimum of 2 years of proven experience in Kindergarten or Early Childhood Education.
Skills: Excellent English communication, classroom management, creativity, patience, and passion for working with young learners.
Kindergarten Assistant Teacher
Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Education or a related field.
Experience: No prior experience required (fresh graduates are encouraged to apply).
Skills: Teamwork, communication, adaptability, and eagerness to learn.
