Job Description
The Art Teacher is responsible for delivering engaging visual arts lessons that foster creativity, critical thinking, and artistic skills. The role includes planning and implementing a balanced program that aligns with curriculum standards, promoting appreciation for various art forms and techniques.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement age-appropriate art curricula for students.
Teach various techniques including drawing, painting, sculpture, and digital art.
Encourage creativity and self-expression through individual and group projects.
Organize art exhibitions and participate in school-wide events.
Maintain a safe, organized, and inspiring classroom environment.
Assess and report on student progress regularly.
Collaborate with other teachers and contribute to interdisciplinary learning projects.
Stay current with developments in art education and integrate new ideas and materials.
Job Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Fine Arts, Art Education, or related field.
Teaching certification (as required by local regulations).
Experience in teaching visual arts at appropriate grade levels.
Strong communication, classroom management, and organizational skills.
