Job Description
We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented senior Accountant to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing company finances, ensuring compliance with Ethiopian tax and revenue regulations, and maintaining accurate financial records.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Manage and oversee daily financial operations, including cash flow and petty cash.
Prepare and process monthly payroll and employee benefits.
Ensure timely and accurate tax filings and compliance with the Ethiopian Revenue & Customs Authority (ERCA)( Practical experience)
Record and reconcile all financial transactions in accordance with company policies.
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
Monitor expenses and support budget preparation.
Maintain accurate records of accounts payable and receivable.
Support external and internal audits.
Advise management on financial planning and cost control.
Job Requirements
Qualifications & Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance
Minimum of 2 year of proven experience in accounting and financial management.
Solid knowledge of Ethiopian tax laws and revenue office procedures.
Strong computer skills, including accounting software and MS Excel.
High level of accuracy, attention to detail, and organizational skills.
Ability to work independently and handle confidential information.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
