Job Description
Duties & Responsibilities:
Prepare and analyze financial statements, general ledgers, and other financial reports for management and regulatory agencies.
Manage and support the entire closing process for financial periods.
Perform account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies, including bank and sub-ledger reconciliations.
Ensure adherence to accounting principles (like GAAP) and tax regulations, and assist with tax audits.
Develop, implement, and maintain internal controls and accounting policies to strengthen financial procedures.
Analyze financial data to provide insights into the company's financial health and recommend cost-saving strategies.
Act as a liaison for external auditors and provide them with necessary financial information and support.
Assist in the development and preparation of budgets and analyze budget variances.
Supervise, mentor, and delegate tasks to junior accountants and accounting assistants.
Job Requirements
Skills & Qualifications
Experience:
5 more years of Proven experience in accounting, including general ledger functions and month-end/year-end close processes.
Road project Experience is mandatory.
