Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Coordinate the month-end count, variance analysis, and collection of justifications for reporting to management

  • Monthly reporting of production variance analysis to top management, followed by an investigation of gaps and corrective actions

  • Work closely with the operation team to understand and explain the main drivers of production variance 

  • Prepare a weekly consumption report, compare actual cost to standards, and make recommendations for correction

  • Manage standard cost maintenance, variance analysis, and adjustments in consultation with production team and management

  • Report the fixed expenses for each line and recommend the best output depending on line efficiency.

  • Prepare and share the insurance report with the insurer on a monthly basis.

  • Offer financial assistance for major projects, new business initiatives, and product launches. Conduct financial due diligence and determine the potential return on investment for new initiatives.

  • Coordinate the annual budgeting process, from obtaining input from various departments to completing the final report.

  • Provide guidance on cost management and Identify and implement cost savings initiatives 

  • Anticipate internal and/or external business challenges and/or regulatory issues

  • Prepare financial models to guide the company’s financial direction.

Job Requirements

Requirements

  • BA degree in Accounting or Finance

  • Minimum of 3 years of relevant financial experience, with demonstrated success in the cost and management accounting

  • Experience in business partner is preferred

  • Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Excel

Competency 

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills 

  • Ability to communicate financial information effectively

  • Strong understanding of cost accounting principles and practices

  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment

  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
