Job Description:

As a Videographer and Video Editor, you will be responsible for capturing, producing, and editing high-quality video content that aligns with Finmar’s creative vision and direction. You will work closely with our marketing and creative teams to develop engaging videos for various uses and platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, shoot, and edit video content for various marketing projects, including commercials, promotional videos, client testimonials, social media content, and event coverage.

• Plan and set up video shoots. Operate video cameras, lighting equipment, and audio recording devices within said video shoots. 

• Meet tight deadlines and work efficiently under pressure. 

• Edit raw footage into polished videos using software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, After Effects, or other similar tools.

• Add graphics elements, captions, and special effects to the footage.

• Ensure all videos adhere to brand guidelines and maintain a consistent visual style.

• Collaborate with team members to develop creative concepts and storyboards for video projects.

• Manage video files and maintain an organized digital library.

• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies in video production and editing.

Job Requirements

Qualifications:

• A minimum of 6 months of proven experience as a videographer and video editor, with a strong portfolio showcasing your work.

• Strong understanding of video production techniques, including lighting, sound, and camera operation.

• Proficiency in video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, After Effects).

• Familiarity with special effects, 3D, and compositing.

• Creative mindset with excellent storytelling skills.

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple projects simultaneously. 

• Excellent time management skills 

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

• The capacity to communicate effectively and the ability to take constructive feedback.

• Excellent analytical skills

• Knowledge of motion graphics and animation is a plus.

• A certificate course in Videography or Cinematography is preferred.
