Our company is looking for ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) FINANCE SPECIALIST 

JOB TITLE: - ERP FINANCE SPECIALIST

The ERP Finance Specialist is responsible for 

  • assisting the finance team and other functional departments on challenges and difficulties of the ERP Module implementation and day-to-day application and use. 

  • assisting the finance team and managing to optimize the company's ERP system within the finance department and other business operations. 

  • Assisting to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and compliance in financial operations, transactions related to service sales, part sales, etc.

  • assisting in generating financial reporting, cost accounting, and internal controls.

To build the capacity of the successful candidate to the required achievement level of the above responsibilities, our company will organize expert-level training at the beginning of the job. The purpose of this training will be to acquaint the candidate with the specific ERP modules that our company is using.

Duties and Responsibilities

ERP System Management:

  • Oversee the ERP system’s financial modules, ensuring data integrity and accuracy.

  • Configure, maintain, and enhance ERP processes related to accounting and finance.

  • Collaborate with IT and other departments to troubleshoot ERP-related issues and implement improvements, basically those of the finance department.

  • Train and support finance staff on ERP system usage and best practices.

Financial Reporting & Analysis:

  • Assist the finance team in preparing and analysing financial statements, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations.

  • Assist the finance team in generating monthly, quarterly, and annual reports using ERP data.

  • Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes (may be when required).

  • Assist the finance team in monitoring and analyzing costs, variances, and inventory valuations.

  • Assist the finance team in implementing cost control measures and optimizing cost reporting within the ERP system.

  • Work closely with the Service Department, Part Sales Department, Procurement, and Supply Chain teams to ensure proper financial data recording on the ERP in all their operational process. 

  • Assist in to maintain and reconciling general ledger accounts within the ERP system.

  • Ensure compliance with tax regulations, financial policies, and industry standards.

  • Assist with internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and reports.

  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance financial operations and reporting based on the ERP Module workflow. 

  • Ensure to automate all financial workflows using ERP functionalities to improve efficiency.

Cost Accounting & Manufacturing Finance:

  • Assist the finance team in monitoring and analyzing costs, variances, and inventory valuations.

  • Assist the finance team in implementing cost control measures and optimizing cost reporting within the ERP system.

  • Work closely with the Service Department, Part Sales Department, Procurement, and Supply Chain teams to ensure proper financial data recording on the ERP in all their operational process. 

  • Assist in to maintain and reconciling general ledger accounts within the ERP system.

  • Ensure compliance with tax regulations, financial policies, and industry standards.

  • Assist with internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and reports.

General Ledger & Compliance:

  • Assist in to maintain and reconciling general ledger accounts within the ERP system.

  • Ensure compliance with tax regulations, financial policies, and industry standards.

  • Assist with internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and reports.

Process Improvement & Automation:

  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance financial operations and reporting based on the ERP Module workflow. 

  • Ensure to automate all financial workflows using ERP functionalities to improve efficiency.

Job Requirements

Education and Experience:

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business information systems, Management Information Systems, Computerized Accounting, Accounting and Finance, or related fields

Experience:

  • Minimum of 2 -3 years of accounting experience, with at least 1 year working with ERP systems in a medium or wide range business operation.

Technical Skills:

  • Exposure to ERP software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar). Strong Excel skills.

Knowledge:

  • basic understanding of cost accounting, financial reporting, and tax regulations.

Soft Skills:

  • basic analytical skills, problem-solving abilities, and excellent communication.

Preferred:

  • Experience with ERP implementation or upgrades is a plus.

(Additional qualification in computer science or related fields is a plus)
