The Senior Accountant will oversee the financial management and accounting processes at the company, ensuring accuracy, transparency, and efficiency across all financial operations. The role involves preparing financial statements, managing financial controls, overseeing the general ledger, and collaborating with department heads to manage budgets and forecasts.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Financial Reporting: Prepare monthly and annual financial reports (balance sheets, income statements, cash flow).
Budgeting & Forecasting: Assist in creating and managing the budget to ensure the company stays on track financially.
Internal Controls: Establish and maintain strong internal controls to safeguard assets and ensure financial accuracy.
Payroll & Taxation: Ensure payroll is processed on time and in compliance with tax laws and local regulations.
Financial Planning & Strategy: Offer financial insights to the management team to guide business decisions and support growth.
Bank & Cash Flow Management: Monitor daily transactions, manage bank accounts, and handle cash flow efficiently.
Audit & Compliance: Support internal and external audits, ensure compliance with financial regulations, and implement corrective actions when necessary.
Job Requirements
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
Experience: Minimum 4-5 years in an accounting role, with some experience in a senior or managerial position, preferably in the foodservice or manufacturing industry.
Skills:
Knowledge of accounting software (Peachtree, CNET,IFRS or similar).
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
Desirable Attributes:
Strong problem-solving skills.
Team player who can collaborate across departments.
Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
