We are looking for an experienced Import Export Officer to manage our import and export operations. The candidate should have strong communication and negotiation skills to facilitate interactions with international partners and ensure compliance with regulations.

Duties and Responsibilities

•  Coordinate and manage all aspects of import and export operations, including documentation and compliance with international trade regulations.

•  Negotiate terms of trade and contracts with suppliers and logistics partners to secure favorable conditions.

•  Maintain strong relationships with customs officials, freight forwarders, and other stakeholders involved in the supply chain.

•  Monitor shipment status and resolve any issues related to logistics, customs clearance, and delivery.

•  Analyze market trends and trade regulations to ensure the company remains competitive and compliant.

•  Prepare and maintain accurate records of all import and export activities, including financial transactions.

•  Collaborate with other departments to streamline processes and enhance overall efficiency.

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, International Business, or a related field.

• At least 5 years of experience in import operations or international trade.

• Strong communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships.

• In depth knowledge of customs regulations and international shipping practices.   Proficient in using logistics and supply chain management software.

• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
