Job Description
Duties and Responsibilities
Financial Reporting, Preparation of financial statements such as Balance Sheet, Income Statement, Cash flow statement, cost of goods sold (COGS) schedules, inventory valuation reports, and production cost analysis. Providing timely and accurate financial information to support management decision-making. having IFRS reporting experience is preferable
Tax Compliance: Managing tax compliance activities, ensuring adherence to tax laws and regulations, and Timely payment and reporting to the tax authority.
Cost Accounting: Tracking and analyzing production costs, including direct materials, labor, and overhead. Implementing cost accounting methods to accurately determine product costs and profitability.
Inventory Management: Monitoring inventory levels, valuation, and movement. Ensuring accurate recording of inventory transactions, including purchases, production, and sales. Performing periodic inventory reconciliations and adjustments as necessary.
Having Knowledge of Peachtree accounting software
Duration: Full Time
Salary: Based on the company Scale
Location: Addis Ababa
Job Requirements
BA Degree in Accounting from a recognized University with Five and above years of related experience
