Job Description
We are seeking a results-driven and strategic leader to oversee our Import-Export & Marketing Department in a fast-paced, multi-functional company. The ideal candidate will manage international trade operations, develop market expansion strategies, and lead a cross-functional team to drive revenue growth across diverse sectors.
Key Responsibilities
1. Import-Export Management
- Plan and execute end-to-end international trade operations (procurement, logistics, customs clearance).
- Negotiate contracts with suppliers, freight forwarders, and distributors globally.
- Ensure compliance with trade regulations, tariffs, and documentation (L/C, BL, COO).
- Monitor shipping schedules, costs, and risk mitigation (currency fluctuations, geopolitical factors).
2. Marketing & Business Development
- Develop and implement marketing strategies to penetrate new markets and strengthen brand presence.
- Conduct market research to identify trends, competitors, and growth opportunities.
- Lead digital and traditional marketing campaigns ( trade shows, B2B partnerships).
- Analyze sales data to adjust pricing, promotions, and product positioning.
3. Team Leadership
- Manage a cross-functional team (logistics, sales, marketing, compliance).
- Set KPIs, conduct performance reviews, and provide training.
- Foster collaboration with other departments (Finance, Production, Legal).
4. Financial & Reporting Oversight
- Prepare budgets, P&L statements, and cost-saving initiatives for the department.
- Report to senior management on trade performance, ROI, and market expansion progress.
Job Requirements
Education:
Bachelor’s/Master’s in International Business, Marketing, Supply Chain, or related field.
Certifications: Export/Import Compliance , Digital Marketing preferred.
Experience:
8+ years in import-export operations + marketing/business development, with 3+ years in leadership.
Proven track record in managing cross-border trade and B2B/B2C marketing.
Familiarity with ERP systems and trade platforms .
Skills:
- Negotiation (Incoterms, contracts).
- Data-driven decision-making (market analytics, sales forecasting).
- Fluency in English (additional languages like French, Mandarin, or Arabic are a plus).
