Role Description
The Spare part Team leader is responsible to manage spare part stock, in such a way that the required service level towards the internal customers is achieved at optimum cost. Manage stock/inventory level using MRP/SAP/ERP system. Register spare part data in CMMS in compliance with relevant procedures (new part stocking, purchasing, stock-taking etc). Where applicable follow contractual procedures (e.g. VMI). His/her role in spare parts stock-keeping procedures (e.g. stock count, reception, goods issue, registration of new parts) and the use of the Computerized Management System (CMMS). Basic principles of spare parts management system and inventory management system (e.g. what is safety stock, re-order point and order quantity)

1, Organize the warehouse, workplace, documentation, and according to the 5S standards
2. His/her role with regard to different spare parts management concepts (e.g. 1 bin, 2 bin concepts, First In First Out [FIFO], consignment stock, Vendor Managed Inventory [VMI])
3. Create new spare parts register in CMMS, Execute stock count procedures
4. Report out of stock to maintenance planners and provide planning information, Detect and report obsolete spare parts based on turnover.
5. Compares actual stock with re-order points and initiates purchasing request
6. Organize, maintain and improve stores management. (Inventory coding, physical layout, work preparation rooms, order tracking system, Stores reporting
7. Support identification of spare parts based on the equipment documentation, CMMS, supplier database, internet and his/her experience
8. Registers spare parts turnover in CMMS according to standards and procedures, executes stock count according to a given plan.
9. Applies appropriate preservation measures to increase shelf life of spare parts (e.g. climate room)
10. Keeps the spare part warehouse clean and organized (e.g. dedicated areas for materials reception, control area, repairs), Makes purchase requests first time right (e.g. all references in)
11. Organize identification of non-movers and obsolete spares, based on consumption history, proposes adjustments to safety stock, re-order point and order quantity
12. Organize spares issuing-receiving procedures and execution. Keeps AM & PM teams informed about spare parts stock and consumption
13. Ensure timely and correct deliveries, to update and take action in the event of deviations
14. Deploy and assess spare part store keepers effectively
15. Assess, and/ or organize training of store keepers to perform their task.
16. In consultation with the maintenance head and the relevant sections, to provide adequate service1
17. Organize identification of non-movers and obsolete spares.
18. Organize spares issuing-receiving procedures and execution.
19. Ensure timely and correct deliveries, to update and take action in the event of deviations
20. Deploy and assess spare part store keepers effectively
21. Assess, and/ or organize training of store keepers to perform their task.
22. Oversee the day-to-day operations of the spare parts store, ensuring smooth and efficient functioning.
23. Develop and implement effective inventory management strategies to optimize stock levels and minimize shortages
24. Lead a team of dedicated store staff, fostering a collaborative and brewery-focused environment.
25. Collaborate with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely replenishment of stock and negotiate favorable terms.
26. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies, creating a secure environment for staff.
27. Preventively checks spare parts database accuracy and relevance and ensures compliance (e.g. eliminates double items, or improves incomplete records)
28. Maintain accurate records of inventory through MRP, SAP/ERP to ensuring stock level of spare part

Required Qualifications and Experience:
MSC/BSC in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, Logistics and Supply Chain or related fields of study.
