Young Roots English International School, a Cambridge-accredited private school in Addis Ababa, is seeking a passionate and qualified Art Teacher to join our growing team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging Art lessons that align with the Cambridge curriculum.

• Foster creativity and self-expression in students through a variety of artistic mediums.

• Assess and monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback.

• Organize exhibitions and display students’ artwork within the school community.

• Collaborate with colleagues to integrate art across the curriculum where appropriate.

• Maintain a safe, inclusive, and inspiring classroom environment.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Art Education, Fine Arts, or a related field 

• Valid teaching license/certification.

• Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience, preferably in a Cambridge or international school setting.

• Strong classroom management and communication skills.

• Ability to inspire and motivate students of varying abilities.
