Job Description
Summary of the position
This position will work professionally towards the implementation of food security and livelihood activities planned for returnees, IDPs and host community project intervention sites.
Coordinate implementation of food security and livelihood activities planned for the returnees, IDPs and host community interventions together with responsible woreda officials & IDP camp community structures.
Facilitate & organize training, workshop, and experience visits planned in the host community and IDP camp project interventions on various agricultural and IGAs practices/approaches..
Implement, monitor, and review FSL project activities in the returnees, host community and IDP camp interventions.
Support in carrying out baseline and other rapid need assessment together with concerned partners and project staff related to food security and livelihood activities.
Coordinate the provision of agricultural inputs (seed distribution, livestock distribution, fertilizer distribution, and other agricultural inputs are managed in quality and quantity) to targeted beneficiaries.
Supervise and regularly monitor the implementation of the project FSL activities in the project of material to beneficiaries.
Prepare monthly and quarterly FSL activity plans and reports and submit them to the supervisor and M&E units.
Community engagement including sensitization, mobilization, formation of community committees and identification of beneficiaries.
Support in carrying out transparent beneficiary selection as per criteria in close coordination with other team members, local authorities, communities and humanitarian agencies working in the area.
Develop a distribution plan ensuring equitable access to agricultural inputs by targeted community.
Maintain accurate records of asset distribution for transparency and accountability together with the MEAL team.
Collect and analyze data on implementation, attendance, beneficiary feedback, and performance.
Participate in coordination meetings, workshops, and trainings for knowledge sharing and networking.
Perform other duties assigned by the supervisor and offices

Educational Qualification and Experience:
A Degree in Agriculture, Crop production/livestock, Business management, Agricultural Economics, Economics Food security and Nutrition, Social Sciences, Rural development and other strongly related fields
Minimum of 2 years’ relevant professional experience
Experience working with INGO will be an advantage.
Experience on agriculture related intervention with the context of refugee, IDP and hosting community.
