Job Description
Ethiopian Human Rights Commission (EHRC) is looking for qualified candidates to fill the following position.
Salary; Gross monthly salary of ETB 20,400.00 – ETB 23,683.00 plus ETB 8,640.00 Housing allowance and ETB 3,300.00 Transport allowance, depending on candidates qualification, experience and earning history
Purpose of the Job:
To identify needs and resources and support the development of concept notes and proposal by working closely with relevant thematic departments.
Support the management of external relationships with partners, donors and stakeholders;
Support the proposal and concept note development process by identifying calls for proposals and sharing information with Partnership Director;
Assist in the development of MoUs and Partnership agreements with partners;
Participate in building and nurturing partnerships with other organizations, key stakeholders and counterparts;
Develop donor mapping and analysis document;
Develop and maintain partners/donors’ databases (including focal persons, their contact details, and address) and ensure the database is up to date;
Support in conducting stakeholders’ mapping and analysis;
Work closely with monitoring and evaluation teams to develop M&E plan and calendar and in the integration of lessons learned, best practices, and project recommendations into new project design processes;
Provide M&E support for the compilation and completion of donor reports and the design and roll-out of reporting initiatives;
Support thematic departments’ teams, coordinators, and directors in organizing and facilitating project development and learning meetings;
Participate in relevant working groups/committees, staff meetings as assigned by the director;
Performs other related duties as assigned by supervisor.
Qualifications and Experience:
MA/LLB or BA in other relevant social science studies.
4 years of relevant experience for LLB/BA and 2 years of relevant experience for MA.
Knowledge of resource mobilization and project development and management.
Knowledge in project management software is advantageous.
Computer literate
Knowledge of Amharic and English is required
Knowledge of other local languages is advantageous.
