Job Description
Lion Heart Academy is seeking a dynamic, highly organized, and people-oriented professional to serve as our Admissions & Events Coordinator. This unique role combines warm, responsive communication with logistical and planning skills to support our school’s admissions process and coordinate school-wide events and educational trips.
Start Date: August 11, 2025
Admissions (Primary Responsibility)
Serve as the first point of contact for prospective families, ensuring a welcoming and informative experience.
Respond to admission inquiries, schedule tours, follow up with families, and guide them through the application and enrollment process.
Maintain accurate student application and enrollment records.
Work closely with the Executive Office, Learning & Development department, and Finance to ensure smooth admissions communication and timely documentation.
Support the development and distribution of marketing materials, open house events, and online campaigns to boost enrollment.
Events & Trips Coordination (Secondary Responsibility)
Plan, coordinate, and execute school-wide events including orientation, student showcases, parent coffees, graduation, and holiday celebrations.
Coordinate logistics for student trips and excursions (transportation, permission forms, budgets, risk management, etc.).
Work closely with department heads, teaching teams, vendors, and external partners to ensure safe and successful events.
Create annual and monthly event calendars in collaboration with school leadership.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in communications, hospitality, business administration, or a related field.
Minimum 2 years of professional experience in customer service, school admissions, events, or public relations.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills in English and Amharic (written and verbal).
High organizational ability, attention to detail, and flexibility to manage multiple priorities.
Professional presentation and a positive, service-oriented mindset.
Experience working in schools or educational environments is an advantage.
