Job Description
Aynalem Amare Import & Export is a leading Ethiopian trading company based in Addis Ababa, specializing in the extraction, processing, and global export of high-value minerals and agricultural products. With a strong commitment to ethical practices, the company engages in legal mining operations across Ethiopia and other African nations, supplying quality minerals such as nickel, chrome, quartz, copper ore, and muscovite. In addition to its core mineral trade, Aynalem Amare exports agricultural commodities and premium processed coffee, serving clients worldwide.
Employment Type: Contract (3 Months)
Location: 22, H & M Building, Addis Ababa, Ethiopia
Experience Level: Mid to Senior (5–10 years)
Oversee recruitment, onboarding, and employee orientation
Ensure compliance with Ethiopian labor laws and internal HR policies
Manage employee records and maintain up-to-date HR documentation
Assist with payroll processing and benefits coordination
Handle employee relations and conflict resolution
Support performance management processes and provide guidance to department heads
Recommend improvements to HR processes and practices
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or a related field
5–10 years of progressive HR experience, preferably in a trading or private company
In-depth knowledge of Ethiopian labor law and HR best practices
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks
Proficiency in MS Office and HR software systems
