Job Description
A sales manager oversees a company’s entire sales process. He/She is responsible for developing and implementing a sales strategy that caters to the strengths of the sales team. As a sales manager, you will have a hand in product development, market research, initial release, ongoing marketing, and data analysis. He/She will generate new business leads, and oversee sales and marketing department staff. He/she also manages sales and marketing budgets and analyze trends.
Key Competencies and Skills:
Digital Marketing Expertise:
Deep understanding of SEO, SEM, PPC, email marketing, and social media platforms.
Proficiency with tools such as Excel, Google drive CRM platforms, and marketing automation software.
Analytical Skills:
Strong data analysis capabilities to measure campaign success and make data-driven decisions.
Experience using performance metrics and KPIs to optimize sales and marketing efforts.
Leadership and Team Management:
Proven ability to lead and inspire a team, fostering collaboration and productivity.
Excellent delegation and project management skills to ensure timely delivery of objectives.
Communication Skills:
Outstanding verbal and written communication skills to craft impactful messaging.
Strong interpersonal skills to work with cross-functional teams and external partners.
Fluency in English Language
Analyze current sales processes and identify areas for improvement.
Execute sales strategies and monitor their effectiveness, making adjustments as needed.
Identify new market opportunities and develop plans and capture them.
Foster strong relationships with customers and stakeholders.
Address customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly.
Implement strategies to enhance customer retention and loyalty.
Identify training needs and organize regular training sessions for the sales team.
Review and optimize the effectiveness and efficiency of the sales processes.
Ensure the sales team follows established sales processes and best practices.
Implement and monitor the use of sales tools and technologies.
Facilitate effective communication between the sales team and other departments.
Identify and implement cost-saving opportunities without compromising sales performance.
Identify human resources requirements and develop plan for meeting the requirements.
Conduct periodic performance evaluations, coaching, mentoring, ongoing performance dialogue and feedback
Salary: Negotiable
Master’s degree /Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Management or related fields of study with a minimum of eight (3) years of demonstrated experience, with at least four (1) years in a managerial role
