Job Requirements
• Qualifications/special skills: A High school diploma is required. A Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management or a related field is also required. - Minimum of 2 years of experience in construction supervision, preferably in building construction projects, in technical infrastructure engineering/design production. - Experience in structural engineering and design review is an advantage. - Experience in coordinating and working with High level Government officials, donors, NGOs and/or UN bodies and related institutions in highly desirable.
• Languages: English and French are the working languages of the United Nations Secretariat. For the post advertised, fluency in oral and written English is required. Fluency in both written and spoken Somali language is required. Ability to communicate technical knowledge to non-expert audience is preferred
