Tsemex Global Enterprise would like to invite qualified and competent applicants in the following post
Position: Senior Mechanical Engineer - Tender Preparation
Employment Type: Permanent
Salary: Attractive and Negotiable
Duties and Responsibilties:
Analyse and interpret tender documents, specifications and drawings to determine project scope
Prepare technical and commercial proposals, ensuring compliance with client requirements
Develop detailed cost estimates including materials labor and equipment costs
Ensure all technical requirements in the tender documents align with the required documents
Work closely with the procurement team to obtain quotations from suppliers
Prepare and submit high-quality tender documents with in specified deadlines
Maintain a database of past tenders, lessons learned and cost benchmarking for future reference
Provide perodic reports on tender progress and outcomes to the department head
Job Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electromechancial or in a related field of study
Minimum 4 years of relevant work experience in tender preparation
Industry knowledge: Expereince in industrial projects, pumps, generators, waste water treatment, power plants is plus
