OLA Energy Ethiopia Limited is a Company engaged in the distribution of Oil and Gas Products in Ethiopia. Major Duties and Accountabilities:

• Manage Maintenance and Repair programs for all types of retail sites and other company facilities while ensuring observance of Operations Integrity Management System, Safety, Controls Quality requirements, etc.

• Ensure all capital projects work carried out in retail have been assessed for risk and relevant mitigation measures are in place, for zero incidents, through effective contractor training.

• Responsible for the Management of Capital Project expenditure and Authorization for Expenditures execution within the retail site, which includes initiation, scoping, implementation, commissioning and close out of all capital projects through Plant Addition Reports after project completion. 

• Develop and manage preventive maintenance schemes and contracts for all equipment locations. 

• Execution of Maintenance and Repair activities at the retail site within the agreed budget. 

• Maintain internal customer interface/communications relating to maintenance within the Retail site.

• Ensure continued functioning and performance of all company assets at Retail sites by:

• Coordination of Service Providers for Maintenance and Repair 

• Effective coordination of Equipment relocations

• Maintenance and Repair Contractor management; including contractor safety training and periodic safety performance appraisals.

• Implement best practices construction techniques.

• Perform other field engineering duties as required.

• Performance measurement and reporting to agreed KPI Templates.

• Responsible for managing and implementing Environmental matters within the Retail site as per National and International requirements.

• Prepare and conduct safety training for contractors, twice a year.

Qualifications requirements

• Essential: A minimum of 5 years’ experience in related field.

• Essential: B. Sc in Mechanical Engineering

Language Requirements (Essential):

• Essential: Outstanding communication and persuasion skills, both in writing and speaking in English and Amharic languages

• Desirable: Knowledge of other international languages is a plus
