The Gynecologist is a medical specialist responsible for diagnosing and treating conditions related to the female reproductive system. This includes providing care in areas such as menstruation, fertility, pregnancy, childbirth, menopause, and reproductive health disorders. The gynecologist also performs surgeries, conducts routine screenings, and promotes preventive care for women’s health.

Duties and Responsibilties:

• Perform routine gynecological exams including Pap smears, pelvic exams, and breast exams.

• Diagnose and treat reproductive system disorders such as endometriosis, fibroids, STIs, and ovarian cysts.

• Provide prenatal, antenatal, and postnatal care.

• Monitor pregnancy progress and fetal health through ultrasounds and checkups.

• Perform gynecological surgeries such as hysterectomy, laparoscopy, D&C, and tubal ligation.

• Educate patients on reproductive and sexual health, hygiene, and disease prevention.

• Maintain accurate medical records and patient histories.

Job Requirements:

• Education: Doctor of Medicine with a Specialty in OB GY or in a related field of study

• Experience: Minimum 2 years and above work experience in the field
