Job Description

The Medical Director provides clinical leadership and strategic oversight to ensure the delivery of high-quality, safe, and effective healthcare services. This role involves supervising medical staff, developing clinical protocols, ensuring regulatory compliance, and aligning medical practices with the hospital’s mission and objectives. The Medical Director serves as the bridge between administrative leadership and clinical operations.

Duties and Responsibilites:

  • Oversee all clinical operations and ensure the highest standards of patient care.

  • Develop, implement, and monitor clinical policies, protocols, and guidelines.

  • Supervise and support physicians and medical teams across departments.

  • Lead recruitment, credentialing, training, and performance evaluation of medical staff.

  • Ensure compliance with healthcare laws, ethical standards, accreditation requirements, and safety regulations.

  • Monitor and analyze clinical outcomes and recommend improvements.

  • Collaborate with executive management in planning and implementing healthcare services and expansion.

  • Promote a culture of patient safety and ethical medical practice.

Job Requirements:

  • Education: Doctor of Medicine Profession with a Specialty in Internal Medicine, G/Surgery, Pediatrics, Gynecology or in a related field of study

  • Experience: Minimum 2 years and above work experience in the field

  • Language: speaking Afaan Oromoo is a plus.

  • Work clearance & professional license is mandatory.
