Job Description
On behalf of our client, we are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Logistics Officer to oversee and coordinate the day-to-day logistics operations (import & export) of our organization.
The Logistics Officer will:
Plan, coordinate, and monitor logistics operations including inbound/outbound shipments, inventory, and transportation.
Ensure goods are delivered on time, in the right quantity, and in good condition.
Maintain accurate records of stock movements, receipts, and dispatches.
Communicate with suppliers, transporters, and internal teams to ensure smooth logistics workflows.
Prepare and update logistics reports, tracking tools, and documentation.
Ensure compliance with customs regulations, safety standards, and company policies.
Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with procurement for restocking when necessary.
Identify and resolve logistical issues and delays proactively.
Assist in budgeting, cost tracking, and evaluating vendor performance.
The ideal candidate will possess
A Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
Proven experience in a logistics or supply chain role (1-3+ years preferred).
Knowledge of logistics software and Microsoft Office.
Strong organizational and time-management skills.
Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
Attention to detail and a proactive approach to work.
