Job Description
Duties and Responsibilities
Develop and maintain detailed production schedules based on sales forecasts, customer orders, and inventory levels.
Plan and schedule production runs for various dairy products, considering factors such as product shelf life, production capacity, and equipment availability.
Adjust production schedules in response to changes in demand, raw material availability, or equipment breakdowns.
Monitor production progress and identify potential bottlenecks or delays and implement corrective actions.
Monitor and manage inventory levels of raw materials, packaging materials, and finished goods to ensure adequate supply and minimize stockouts.
Conduct regular inventory audits and reconciliations.
Collaborate with the procurement team to ensure timely delivery of raw materials and packaging materials.
Optimize inventory levels to minimize storage costs and waste.
Analyze historical sales data, market trends, and customer feedback to develop accurate demand forecasts.
Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to understand future sales plans and promotions.
Utilize forecasting tools and techniques to improve forecast accuracy.
· Inventory Management:
Monitor and manage inventory levels of raw materials, packaging materials, and finished goods to ensure adequate supply and minimize stockouts.

· Demand Forecasting:
Capacity Planning:
Assess production capacity and identify potential constraints.
Develop capacity plans to ensure that production resources are utilized effectively.
Recommend improvements to production processes and equipment to increase capacity and efficiency.
· Reporting and Analysis:
Generate regular reports on production performance, inventory levels, and forecast accuracy.
Analyze production data to identify trends and areas for improvement
Prepare and present production plans and reports to management.
Job Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, or a related field
Minimum 5 years of experience in production planning or supply chain management, preferably in the FMCG.
Strong understanding of production planning and inventory management principles.
Proficiency in using production planning software and ERP systems.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Knowledge of food safety regulations and quality control procedures.
Experience in demand forecasting.
