ZIAS A&E is an Architecture and Engineering firm headquartered in Reston, VA, USA with a subsidiary in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. Established in 2006, ZIAS provides design, supervision, and contract administration services for building projects of various sizes. We serve a diverse set of clients globally, including in the US, and across Eastern, Western, and Southern Africa.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Develop and present design concepts, mood boards, layouts, and color schemes

• 3D renderings and design packages

• Prepare construction drawings, detail drawings for casework & millwork

• Material specification, FF&E and site follow up.

Software:

• Revit, D5 Render, 3DS Max, and Adobe Creative Suite

• Specify materials, furniture, lighting, and accessories according to project needs and budget

• Conduct space planning, site measurements, and analysis

• Coordinate with clients, architects, engineers, contractors, and vendors

• Oversee design implementation, including site visits and quality checks

• Stay updated on industry trends, materials, and sustainability practices

Job Requirements:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Interior design or related field

• Experience: Minimum 4 years professional experience, preferably in hospitality or residential projects

• Flexibility to work weekends and extended hours when necessary

• Immediate availability

• Preferred (Optional) Certifications & Skills

• NCIDQ certification, LEED accreditation, or similar credentials

• Knowledge of sustainable design principles and green building standards
